The medical staff and administration of Greenwood Leflore Hospital extend condolences to the family of Terrell Majure Cobb who passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
Mr. Cobb was a native of Tchula, Mississippi. After attending Delta State University,
Mr. Cobb and his wife moved to Memphis, Tennessee. They returned to the Mississippi Delta a short time after to live in Greenwood, where he worked for the Mississippi Employment Service before being transferred to Jackson, Mississippi in 1972.
In late 1974, Mr. Cobb began a career with Greenwood Leflore Hospital, and his family returned to Greenwood. He served as Assistant Executive Director until promoted to Chief Executive Officer in 1993. Mr. Cobb worked at Greenwood Leflore Hospital for over 25 years, retiring in 2000.
Mr. Cobb will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and former colleagues.
